Forest Hills is involved in several ongoing missions including partnerships with Pennies for Hunger, Caring Services, Open Door Ministries, Meals on Wheels, AA, NA, Northwood Elementary School, and more. To learn more about our missions, please contact Mallory Smith.

Each year, the Souper Bowl of Caring unites our community and  helps others in need. More than $90 million has been collected since the movement began in 1990, but the Greensboro/High Point area still remains at the top of the list for those who have difficulty securing food. Our donations help replenish depleted supplies after the flurry of the holidays, and again this year, Forest Hills has an opportunity to help those in our community. Please mark your calendars for Sunday, February 4 @ 12 p.m. and join us for a soup lunch in the Fellowship Hall. Your donation of at least $5 for lunch and any canned goods provided will be given to West End Ministries and Caring Services, two agencies that help serve meals to the hungry in our community. Everyone is welcome. In the coming weeks please don't forget to bring any spare canned goods for the collection! Together, we can help ‘Tackle Hunger' in our community!

From the Operation Inasmuch website:

"Operation Inasmuch is a national nonprofit that employs proven models to motivate, train, and equip churches to move more congregants out of the sanctuary seats and into the streets to serve the neediest in their communities."

Stay tuned for more information on this year's Operation Inasmuch projects!

Upcoming workdays are Saturday, May 5 and Saturday, October 27, 2018.
