Resilience: The Biology of Stress & The Science of Hope

We invite you to learn about Adverse Childhood Experience and the effect that they have on the health and well-being of our neighbors in High Point. The ‘Resilience’ film chronicles the birth of a new movement among pediatricians, therapists, educators and communities who are using cutting-edge brain science to disrupt cycles of violence, addiction and disease.

The screening is hosted by the Hayden-Harman Foundation and Caring Services. All are welcome to attend. Those working with children and youth will find the movie particularly enlightening.

A discussion will follow the screening. This discussion will be led by Lara Kehle, a certified Community Resilience Model trainer, Executive Director of Kidscope, and the head of the Chatham Action on Resilience Initiative.
