Forest Hills Presbyterian Church

"He handed out gifts above and below, filled heaven with his gifts, filled earth with his gifts...to train Christ's followers in skilled servant work, working within Christ's body, the church, until we're all moving rhythmically and easily with each other, efficient and graceful in response to God's Son, fully mature adults, fully developed within and without, fully alive like Christ." (Ephesians 4:15-16, The Message)

Summer Sunday School 10:00 a.m.

Forest Hills is intentionally intergenerational in its life and mission.  In the summer, we celebrate that intergenerational character and strength when all ages come together for an active learning experience.  We start at 10 a.m. and provide a light breakfast.  We grow in knowledge, faith and practice as we teach and learn from each other.

Bible study with the Christian community helps us grow in faith...

Children & Youth

  • Infants-Preschool:  Loving, committed teachers nurture faith through Bible stories, play, and lots of love!
  • Kindergarten through 5th grade:  Workshop Rotation Sunday School involves our children in Bible stories and topical studies for four weeks in a row.  They study the same story in four different workshops. Workshops include Kitchen, Art, Storytelling, Drama, Games, and Service.  See Children for details.
  • Youth: Attending Crashroads (below)...

Adult Class

  • Starting April 15th @ 9:30 a.m. - CRASHROADS! For six weeks, starting April 15th (the Sunday after Easter)  you are invited to explore the intersection of faith and life.  Intersections where you may question:

What difference does faith make to and for us?

How does faith become part of every minute of our day and not just a Sunday obligation?

How does an ancient biblical text actually inform our modern lives today?

Does faith actually make our lives better?

Does it do anything good for those we encounter?

Can being a person of faith make a difference in the world, or does it just make a difference for the individual?

Is membership in a church about individual benefits or something much larger?

Perhaps you've been wondering about any or all of these questions. Perhaps you know the answers "for you," but would like to be able to talk with others about what you think, do, and believe.  Perhaps you have a friend that has considered coming to "church" but can't see the point, and you've been looking for a reason to invite them.  Join Joe and Beth at 9:30 a.m. sharp in the Fellowship Hall, Sunday April 15 for a six week road trip.   WARNING - May be transformative to your faith-journey!  You never know what road God may put you on next!  Come along for the ride!
