Forest Hills Presbyterian Church

What to Expect...Sunday Mornings at FHPC

SPIRITUALLY...we are a community called by God to serve and practice our faith.  We find these practices to be challenging and life-giving.  Through our faith community we encounter God, and are challenged to respond to that encounter in ways that are life-giving to the world.  Come and join us.

PRACTICALLY...Come on up the drive!  You will be greeted warmly.  If you want to get in and out without talking to anyone, good luck.  We do love to visit!  We are always hanging out between 10:30 and 11:00 a.m.  Come and chat with us.

SMALL GROUP EXPLORATION begins at 9:45 a.m.  Come up the drive and veer left.  Enter through those doors and you will be greeted and guided to a group that interests or challenges you. Participation in small groups helps grow our faith and connects us with each other.

WORSHIP begins at 11:00 a.m.  The sanctuary is accessible from either side of the parking lot.  There are doors as you come up the drive, but you may also enter through the courtyard or through the office/education wing entrance.  Sit anywhere.  We're happy to have you!

Wear what you wish.  You will see everything from shorts and flip-flops to suits and ties.  Bulletins include the liturgy (the work of the people) and hymns as well as other activities and opportunities to serve during the week.

CHILDCARE is offered from 9:15 to 12:15 and located in the education wing.  Ask an usher and they will help you get there.  Children are welcome in worship for all or part of the service, their comfort is our concern.  Baskets with activity bags are in the narthex for them.  Any usher can help.  Our professional child-care provider is supported by members living into their vows to nurture our children in the faith.

For other questions or feedback on your visit, please contact us.  We look forward to hearing from you.
