Elementary Children...
FHPC takes seriously the promises to nurture faith they make when children are baptized. One young adult visiting the church commented that FHPC is like a hundred "aunts and uncles"...all looking out for kids, having fun with them, holding kids accountable...and having a great time doing it! Children are encouraged to use their gifts for and with the church, and we work hard to help them be successful, from playing an instrument to ushering in worship. Children have their own encounters with God in their own ways. We help them understand what is happening; God meets them where they are.
